Title: Note Passing at St Gabriel’s
Author: Omnicat v''v
Rating: K+
Genre: General, Humor
Spoilers & Desirable Foreknowledge: The first three to five episodes of Gundam Wing.
Warnings: Talk of murder, Heero ’n Relena-style
Pairings: None. I MEAN IT. I could go on a lenghty rant about the wallbanging unlikeliness that there was anything but suspicion between these two before the incident in the marina and Relena’s ‘kidnapping’ by Doctor J, but I’d probably lose half my readers if I did.
Disclaimer: Gundam Wing is not mine. I’m just borrowing some parts of it for personal entertainment. Will return unscathed.
Summary: Set during episode two, "The Gundam Deathscythe". Semi–serious, completely free of romance. Heero and Relena pass notes in class while at St Gabriel’s. Just not about the usual gossip and teacher ridicule...
Author’s Note: I did some counting, and it seems that, all in all, Heero hasn’t spent more than two or three days at St Gabriel’s. O.o I thought it was a bit longer than that when I started writing this, so I had to squeeze the timeframe of this ‘conversation’ into the day Relena turned fifteen and left her own birthday party to go after Heero, because he was about to blow something up at the marina. Heero skipped horsemanship class that day to do some research for his mission, after having shown off in front of a fellow student so that it wouldn’t be suspicious that he wasn’t taking any lessons; he’d already shown that he was quite good at horse riding. This is set a few hours before that. Enjoy!
Oh yeah, before I forget: Relena’s messages are in italics, Heero’s in plain, and the real life happenings are the ones not centered. Each new paragraph denotes a new message written by either one of them.

Note Passing at St Gabriel's )

Just Communication
Encounters between Heero and Relena, stuffed in between canon scenes, in which they use notes, text messages and computer hacking to have a proper conversation for once. One that isn’t interrupted by explosions, even. Scattered throughout the first part of the series.
Note Passing at St Gabriel's
Set during episode two, "The Gundam Deathscythe". Semi–serious, completely free of romance. Heero and Relena pass notes in class while at St Gabriel’s. Just not about the usual gossip and teacher ridicule...
Phonemails in Japan
Sequel to “Note Passing at St Gabriel’s”, set during episode nine. Now that Heero has changed schools, he and Relena switch from paper to phonemail to exchange messages. Poor, under–appreciated vocal chords.
Instant Messaging across Antarctica
Sequel to "Note Passing at St Gabriel’s" and "Phonemails in Japan", set after ep 16. Relena had a very important letter to deliver, and really, when doing so in person was impossible, why not hack into the gundams’ communication system?

Titel: Briefjes Doorgeven op z’n Sint Gabriels
Auteur: Omnicat v''v
Classificatie: K+ / PG
Genre: Algemeen, Humor
Samenvatting: Setting: aflevering twee, ‘The Gundam Deathscythe’.

Title: Darkon and the Parrot; A Very Silly Way to Beat Darkon
Author: Omnicat v''v
Rating: K+
Genre: Humor, bordering on Parody
Spoilers and desirable foreknowledge: Eh... make it Teknoman (preferably the British/Australian version) in its entirety.
Warnings: OOC. But only slightly. *wink*
Pairings: Hints of past Catherine x Conrad.
Soundtrack: Let’s call the whole thing off, by whoever sung it first.
Disclaimer: Teknoman/Tekkaman Blade’s all mine, and I’m getting rich by writing this, all right? No, not all right. All wrong.
Summary: If you can't beat them, cheat them. A very silly way to beat Darkon: with a parrot.
Author’s Note: This fandom needs a little more humour. And better titles. *sweatdrop*

PSAN: ... tadeng! Well, that was very silly. Now you know the one thing that grieves me about Teknoman, and prevents me from showing it to those around me: Darkon’s vocabulary. If you liked this, I have more Very Silly Ways To Beat Darkon planned, and suggestions are welcome! Read and Review, please!

Title: Darkon and the Common Cold
Author: Omnicat v''v
Rating: K+
Genre: Humor, touching on Parody.
Spoilers & Desirable Foreknowledge: Nothing specific.
Warnings: Silliness and slightly Jucky Things of the Alien and Biological Variety.
Pairings: Hints of Star Summers x Nick Carter/Teknoman Blade
Soundtrack: ‘Let’s call the whole thing off’, by whomever you prefer.
Disclaimer: Teknoman/Tekkaman Blade is not mine. I’m just borrowing the characters and setting for a while. Will return in canon state.
Summary: If you can’t beat them, cheat them. A very silly way to beat Darkon; with a cold virus.
Author’s Note: The second attempt to defeat Darkon with the use of the most lame and absurd techniques. Enjoy!

Darkon and the Common Cold )

PSAN: ...tadeng! I know, not as outrageously absurd as the parrot, but I hope you got a laugh (or two) out of this anyway. Please Read and Review!

omnicat: (for Prétear)
Title: Should have, Shouldn’t have
Author: Omnicat
Rating: K
Genre: Angst
Spoilers & Desirable Foreknowledge: Up until episode 10 of the Prétear anime, at the very least.
Warnings: None.
Pairings: Mentioned unrequited Sasame x Takako
Disclaimer: I disclaim, which means we already agree before you’ve even sued me. So do us both a favour and don’t sue me.
Summary: Set somewhere between episode 10 and 11 of the anime. Feelings of guilt and blame threaten to break the remaining Knights apart now that their ‘heart’ has been ripped from their midst.
Author’s Note: Set after Himeno ran away from home and Sasame joined Takako, when they were staying in the old church at night and ran around town fighting demon larva during the day. Enjoy.

 Should have, Shouldn't have )

PSAN: The ‘Sasame stopped laughing’ thing is based on Sasame’s transformation when he was adapted from the manga to the anime; he literally stopped laughing. He still flirted and teased a bit, but only a tiny bit. It wasn’t nearly like he ‘used to’ in the manga, after he was made to be as in love with Takako as he was in the anime. (In the manga, Takako played a much smaller role. Sasame was still in love with her, but... different.)

omnicat: (for Prétear)
Title: Good Again
Author: Omnicat v''v
Rating: (PG) K
Genre: General, Angst. Laced with small amounts of Humor.
Spoilers: All thirteen episodes of the Prétear anime.
Warnings: None.
Pairings: Hinting at Sasame x Takako and Hayate x Himeno.
Disclaimer: Prétear or any money being made off of it isn’t mine.
Summary: After the destruction of the Great Tree, Mannen, Hajime and Shin want to make sure Sasame is really a good guy again.
Author’s Note: Set directly after Himeno’s awakening, as you’ll see. Enjoy!

 Good Again )

PSAN: Yes, I do believe that the ending and aftermath of Prétear is supposed to be a happy one. With everything that has happened, though, it truly took a miracle to make that happen. This is my view on the reality of it. With a happy ending! Look, they’re all laughing and smiling again, see? I hope you enjoyed your reading.
If you are in any way a good person you will now review. People who do not review are mean, evil etc. (I’m trying a new tactic to inspire people to review; Dr. Acme’s Guilt & Shame Kit. Hm, I wonder if that angry mob outside came with the package...)

omnicat: (for Prétear)
Title: Remember to Dream
Author: Omnicat
Spoilers & Desirable Foreknowledge: Junichi Sato & co’s Prétear; anime-based, with a few added manga details.
Warnings: None.
Characters & Relationships: Himeno & Sasame x Takako
Summary: It’s dreams that bring comfort in dark times, it’s dreams that tie people’s hearts to each other when they’re on opposite sides... Himeno, Takako, and Sasame, greatest foes and saving graces, all in one.
Author’s Note: This fic refers to and relies heavily on specific sequences of events from the canon, so it’s probably best enjoyed with the anime fresh in your memory. The parts in italics are the dreams. Enjoy!

Remember to Dream )

PSAN: Comments on older fics will always remain welcome. :)

Legend

Spoiler for Fic )
omnicat: (for Prétear)
Title: The White Snow of Miracles Fell
Author: Omnicat
Rating: PG / K
Genre: General. Though I wished ‘Hope’ was a genre, because I don’t like to stick ‘Angst’ labels on stuff like this.
Spoilers: All 13 episodes of the Prétear anime.
Warnings: No more than the ones for Prétear itself.
Pairings: None featured. Hinted at Sasame x Takako.
Soundtrack: Disney’s The Lion King II; Simba’s Pride has this great song, ‘Not One of Us’. That song (and the AMV that came with it) was a great source of inspiration for this fic, especially Sasame’s feelings. It’s not necessary to know the song, but it could add to the feeling when you read.
Disclaimer: Neither Prétear nor The Lion King are my copyrighted property, and I do not make any profit by using them as my source of inspiration for this fic.
Summary: Evil has been defeated, but there’s no happily ever after yet. Hayate and Sasame were best friends. They thought they knew each other. But they aren’t so sure anymore... So they have a talk to right the last wrongs.
Author’s Note: The first piece of Prétear fanfiction I have ever written, but not by far the last. I hope you’ll enjoy!

The White Snow of Miracles Fell )

PSAN: I hope you liked it. Please Read and Review!

Additional Notes

(1) “Leafe Sorceress Takako” – A purely fanon term. I was thinking; even though Takako as Prétear can no longer give Leafe, she can still manipulate it, according to Hayate. So what does this make her? It sounds like she’d actually be much like a Leafe Knight, to me. So I thought, why the Hell not, let’s give her a nice and shiny title. Admit it, it sounds cool, doesn’t it?
(2) “Hayate and Sasame were left alone together by the wind chimes on the Awayuki grounds, the place where they usually opened the portal between Leafenia and Earth.” – Credit for this idea goes to The Cleric 007. If I hadn’t read her/his/its story ‘Bonds Not Broken, Only Bent’, the location for their meeting would have been very dull, and not nearly as symbolic.
(3) “the likes of Judas and Brutus” – For those without my knowledge of Western history and myth; Judas and Brutus have been branded traitors by the passing of time. Judas is said to have sold out Jesus Christ to the Romans, and Brutus played a key role in the murder of Julius Caesar. They’re two of my favourite mythological and historical figures, actually.
(4) “Yuki, Mikio and Kawarō” – He means the three Knights that used up their Leafe to seal Fenrir, and faded away. I made the names up myself, though I realise that other fanfiction writers right here on ff . net have used (some of) the same ones; the fallen Knight of Ice - yuki, which means ‘snow’; the fallen Knight of Plants - mikio, which means ‘tree trunk man’; and the fallen Knight of Water - kawarō, in which kawa means ‘river’ and -rō is a common suffix in male Japanese names, meaning ‘son’. I have no idea if any of these names are actually considered appropriate in Japan.
(5) “since we found Takako and became true Knights.” – ‘True knights’ in the sense of ‘Knights with a Prétear’. Because it isn’t of much use to have the title of Knight if you don’t have a princess, now is it? Again, purely fanon interpretation.
(6) “I’m the oldest” – And yet another AN! Okay, this one is up for debate. The official Japanese Prétear site states that Kei, Hayate, Goh and Sasame are all presumed to be sixteen years old (this is the case in the manga, but I have my doubts about the anime). Following from their given birthdays, their age compared to each other would be as listed above, with Kei being the oldest, Sasame the youngest. (Yes, I’m the kind of person to take a Japanese site and an online dictionary and make them do conspicious things together...) However, the English site (the ‘AVD Official Site’ for Prétear) has their ages listed differenlty: Hayate is eighteen, Sasame seventeen, and Kei and Goh are both sixteen, while their birthdays are the same. I used the latter as my source of information, as you may have guessed, simply because that’s the one I could read properly. Besides, I’m not sure how clearly the Japanese one differentiates between the anime and the manga... they have pictures from the anime all over the place, but that site had Shin and Hajime both listed as being 7 years old; it may fit the manga, but it’s nonsense for the anime.
