Eleven years later...
28 March 2017 12:52...and I've FINALLYYYYYYYYYYY gotten my hands on a subbed version of the Teknoman special Burning Clock.
NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER SURRENDER, bwahahahaha.
Now the question is, am I going to rewatch the UK/AUS dub I imprinted on as a small child again, or try to brave the original Japanese and all the cringe that comes with "D-Boy"? Or maybe even the US dub, which turned his name into - *shudder* - Slade?
...
Okay so apparently I'm nuts enough to try ALL THREE, but we'll see how long the comparison curiosity lasts me through a 49/43 episode show, two versions of which have such an awful, awful name for its protagonist. Also, how many US episodes I can even get my hands on...
(On another note, I finally worked up the nerve to reread the Farseer Trilogy, and halle-goddamn-lujah, it still holds up. I am a happy cat.)
