omnicat: (for DTB - Amber x Hei)
Title: Careful What You Wish For
Author: Omnicat
Spoilers & Desirable Foreknowledge: Tensai Okamura & co’s Darker than Black: the Black Contractor anime and Akiyuki Shinbo & co’s Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
Warnings: Blood, death, canon-typical Puella Magi issues.
Characters & Relationships: Amber &/x Pai, Kyubey, Hei
Summary: A magical girl going only by ‘Amber’ saves Li Xing from a Witch. The human race is never the same afterwards. / a Puella Magi Madoka Magica fusion // 2109 words
Author’s Note: Tian is a Chinese name meaning ‘sky/heaven’, just as Xing means ‘star’. Various other writers have used that as Hei’s birth name before me (I got it from tsuki-llama, who shares a lot of headcanons – including this one – with starrycontractor/major-victory/lolgirl607/darkerthanevanescence, but I also know of FFN’s desy). I love it, okay. I haven’t stopped cackling since I first discovered it. I’m going to use it in everything for the rest of ever.
Yes, I am aware that the modern romanization for the Chinese word for ‘white’ is ‘bái’, but I cannot be held accountable for Tensai Okamura’s weirdness, okay? I imprinted on ‘Pai’ at an impressionable age.

Spoilery Puella Magi Madoka Magica context, for the uninitiated. )

Enjoy!

Title: Halt and Set Hydra On Fire
Author: Omnicat
Spoilers & Desirable Foreknowledge: Steven Lisberger & co’s Tron, Joseph Kosinsky & co’s Tron: Legacy, Joe Johnson & co’s Captain America: the First Avenger, and the Russo brothers & co’s Captain America: the Winter Soldier.
Warnings: A fight scene.
Characters & Relationships: Ward & Yori & a program written by Peggy
Summary: Grant Ward is sent to the Grid to plant Hydra’s – and more importantly, John Garrett’s – flag. The software that brought him there has different ideas.
Author’s Note: This fic was inspired by this dubsmash by Hayley Atwell and Brett Dalton, set to Miley Cyrus’s ‘Wreckingball’, where Brett pushes Hayley, who is sitting in the dark in a kind of glowing, circular swing. Everything Is Always Tron, so that’s the first place my mind went to when I saw it. Also, the flashbacks to how Garrett and Ward met were creepy to the max, like a how-to guide to Stockholm Syndrome and cult indoctrination. Enjoy!

Halt and Set Hydra On Fire )
omnicat: (for Tron - Users 1982)
Title: The Butler and the Firewall
Author: Omnicat
Unofficially Adapted From: Jon Favreau & co’s Iron Man and Iron Man 2, Shane Black & co’s Iron Man 3, Steven Lisberger & co’s Tron, and Joseph Kosinksi & co’s Tron: Legacy.
Spoilers & Desirable Foreknowledge: All of the above, though nothing specific.
Warnings: Violence.
Characters & Pairings: Tron & J.A.R.V.I.S. & Tony & Lora
Summary: “I knew a program called Jarvis once.” “A friend of yours, sir?” “He was a back-stabbing, boot-licking, unprincipled data-pusher who abandoned his User and got exactly what was coming to him,” Tron said. “I’m sorry, sir. I hope you won’t hold the memory of this person against me,” J.A.R.V.I.S. said. LoraB heaved a weary sigh. “Tron, honey, we talked about this. ‘Tact’, remember?”
Author’s Note: A pair of loose excerpts from a Tron/MCU crossover epic that will never come to fruition. Woe, alas, et cetera. The context here is that at some point post-Legacy, the secret of the ISOs and what Lora’s laser can do falls into the wrong hands, and Alan is kidnapped for it. So Lora hauls Tron out of the computer to help save him, and along the way they run into one or more of the Earth-dwelling Avengers. I was inspired to write these particular snippets down despite my utter inability to write the epic multichapter of my dreams because tumblr assaulted me with program feels.

Title: How Not to Kidnap a Vice Foreign Minister
Author: Omnicat v''v
Rating: K+ / PG
Genre: Humor, Parody
Spoilers & Desirable Foreknowledge: Gundam Wing in its entirety and some rudimentary knowledge of Ranma ½.
Warnings: None.
Pairings: Coming pretty close to Heero Yuy x Relena Darlian-Peacecraft now.
Disclaimer: I hold no rights Gundam Wing or Ranma ½. But I’m being nice to them this time around, so they probably won’t mind if I borrow some characters to play with. :P
Summary: When you get kidnapped about three times a day, it tends to get boring. Repetitive, you know? But some incidents still stand out...
Author’s Note: The last of this ‘trilogy’ of crossover ‘kidnappings’. And it’s a wrap!

How Not to Kidnap a Vice Foreign Minister - During Dinner )

PSAN: I don’t think I’ll ever be able to unsee the connection between Ryoga’s condition and Heero’s "I’ve been lost since the day I was born." line in Endless Waltz. Don’t want to, either! Hope you liked the fic. ^_^

Title: Hibiki Heero
Author: Omnicat v''v
Rating: K / G
Genre: General, Humor, Parody-ish
Spoilers & Desirable Foreknowledge: For Gundam Wing the anime, Endless Waltz OVA and Episode Zero manga for full effect. For Ranma ½, a simple wiki-search will do, but for full effect, you have to have seen at least Ryoga’s introduction arc.
Warnings: None.
Pairings: Hints at Heero Yuy x Relena Darlian (married parents) and Ryoga Hibiki x OFC (married parents).
Disclaimer: I own no rights to nor income from Gundam Wing, Ranma ½, Harry Potter, Hellsing, Angel: the Series, or Anne Rice’s Lestat. Dracula and Dorian Gray are too old for even my grandparents, let alone me personally, to have had anything to do with their creation, though they should be in the public domain by now and thus up for grabs. No actual human beings were involved in the composition of this document. The Gundam Wing production team staff referred to here is composed entirely of stick figures in black and white, with three ‘fingers’ on each ‘hand’ and little blocks for ‘feet’. The author is a dexterously gifted cat.
Summary: “I’ve been lost since the day I was born.” Aw, poor emotionally confused chibi!Heero. Right? Well, maybe not...
Author’s Note: Crazy Crossover Yuy Family! X3

Hibiki Heero )

PSAN: Don't think too hard about the whole secret identities thing. In this fic, Ranma-logic applies. x3

omnicat: (for Code Geass)

Title: How Not to Kidnap a Vice Foreign Minister
Author: Omnicat v''v
Rating: K+ / PG
Genre: Humor, Parody
Spoilers & Desirable Foreknowledge: Gundam Wing in its entirety and some general knowledge of Code Geass. A summary or description of the basic premise would do.
Warnings: Non-graphic vomiting.
Pairings: Somewhat less slight Heero Yuy x Relena Darlian-Peacecraft.
Disclaimer: Neither Gundam Wing nor Code Geass are mine. This was written for fun, not for profit.
Summary: When you get kidnapped about three times a day, it tends to get boring. Repetitive, you know? But some incidents still stand out...
Author’s Note: If you can stomach it, enjoy. ^^;

Title: Preventor Prétear - Sally
Author: Omnicat v''v
Rating:
Genre: General, Humor
Spoilers & Desirable Foreknowledge: The entire Prétear anime, but the general idea and knowledge of the fandom will do for Gundam Wing. :P
Warnings: None.
Pairings: Wufei Chang x Sally Po (ish), Sasame x Sally Po (ish), Sasame x Takako
Disclaimer: Neither of the anime this is derived from are mine. I’ve got the bank account to show for it.
Summary: Meeting the new Prétear, Sally Po, Sasame sees the light about the people chosen to save the day.
Author’s Note: Enjoy! ;)

Title: White One
Author: Omnicat
Rating: PG
Genre: Angst
Spoilers & Desirable Foreknowledge: How does both animes sound?
Warnings: Slave trade.
Pairings: None.
Disclaimer: *checks tickybox*
Summary: “You’re in luck, Ladybird.” the slimy voice said. “Girls this age are in high demand. I wouldn’t have been able to get you a little beauty like her for this amount if she wasn’t blind.”
Author’s Note: Watch me sink to new lows with this thing’s title. Bleh.

White One )

PSAN: I think I hate this one. I think that I hate the fact that Treize and Une were in the same anime together. I think I hate anime in general for being such a sexist genre and inspiring stuff like this. Well, at least I got it out of my system. On to more humorous matters of cracktastic!

Title: How Not to Kidnap a Vice Foreign Minister
Author: Omnicat v''v
Rating: K+ / PG
Genre: Humor, Parody
Spoilers & Desirable Foreknowledge: Nothing in particular for Pokémon apart from Team Rocket’s usual slogan and exit, but the entire Gundam Wing anime would come in handy.
Warnings: Team Rocket meets its usual fate. The Fourth Wall gets broken - in-universe!
Pairings: Very very slight Heero Yuy x Relena Darlian-Peacecraft.
Disclaimer: Neither Gundam Wing nor Pokémon belong to me, and I do not make any profit by combining them. (But damn, if only I could... XD )
Summary: When you get kidnapped about three times a day, it tends to get boring. Repetitive, you know? But some incidents still stand out...
Author’s Note: Enjoy!
